Litany of Loreto

The Litany of Loreto (also known as the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary) is a Marian litany originally approved in 1587 by Pope Sixtus V. It is named after its first-known place of origin, the Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto (Italy), where its usage was recorded as early as 1558.

Carmelite Proper for the Liturgy of the Hours

To pray along with the Carmelite Feast days you may consult the Discalced Carmelite Missal, which contains the Proper of Saints and Votive Masses. The Discalced Carmelite Missal is currently sold out, but when it becomes available it can be ordered from the Carmelite Book Service in England. Note that these resources are not the complete Divine Office, but simply a supplement that contains the prayers unique to the feasts of our Carmelite saints and blesseds.
