2023 Novena to All Carmelite Saints

Here is the schedule — including dates, times, and locations — for the 2023 Novena to All Carmelite Saints at Holy Spirit Church. We will be learning more about several of our Carmelite saints, focusing on a different saint for each night of the novena. For those who are not able to join us, you can download the novena prayers and pray them at your convenience.

Silent Day of Recollection on October 21, 2023

The 2023 Silent Day of Recollection for the Lay Carmelite Bay Area Region will be held at the Carmelite House of Prayer in Napa, CA on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is $30, to be paid at the door. Light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available. Wear your scapular and bring your Liturgy of the Hours.

An Ecumenical Dialogue on St. Thérèse of Lisieux

An Ecumenical Dialogue on St. Thérèse of Lisieux with Anders Cardinal Arborelius, OCD, Bishop of Stockholm, and Lutheran bishop Karin Johannesson, bishop of Uppsala. Both have written and spoken widely on the saints and spirituality of Carmel. These events are intended to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beatification of the Little Flower and the 150th anniversary of her birth.
